Estate papers : Chesterfield County, Virginia, 1811-1813.

These papers were taken from the file on the case of William Martin's Heirs vs. William Martin's Executor in the Chancery Court of Chesterfield County, Virginia. The heirs, sons James, Reevs, and William A., and daughter Mary Anderson Aartin Bridgewater, requested and received a division of their father's property from the executor, James A. Patterson. In cluded are the bill of complaint, May 13, 1811, and order of the court to divide the estate, and a plat of the Chesterfield County property. Also included in is a list of men on patrol, September-December 1813 reporte by Captain James Martin.
